With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen C Matteson of Kenton, Ohio, born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on October 13, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto M. Matteson and Ruth E. Matteson (Cole); his son-in-law Stephen Stethers; and his sister-in-law Dottie Matteson. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Hehr; his children, Michael Matteson (Jean) of Leesburg, VA, Brian Matteson of Chantilly, VA, Tracy Hoppa (Scott) of Tempe, AZ, Elizabeth Stethers of Woodstock, GA and Marcia Poling (Kurt) of Dunkirk; and his brother Admiral Thomas T. Matteson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
