She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvenus Wood and Mary Wood (Mullenax); her husband Richard W. Barger; her siblings, James, Richard "Bus" Wood, Martha Allen, Mary Hatch, Helen Paul, Dorothy Styer and Ruth Conkle; and her sister-in-law Lela Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Massey (Carl) of North Carolina and Richard Barger (Lydia) of Dublin, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Nick, Drew Chaplinski, Meghan and Brandon Barger; and her brother Robert Wood (Betty).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Not By Choice or Mary Lou Johnson Public Library.
