He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ann Dean (Carey); his children, Dixie Kay Akers (Bill) of LaRue, Douglas Richard Dean (Rebecca) of Richwood, Dale Alan Dean of LaRue and Vicki Ann Elkins (Gene) of Kenton; his grandchildren, Wayne Akers, Shane Akers, Shannon Akers (Rita Miley), Kandi Akers, Danny, Chris Mustaine, Maryann Holtschulte (Josh), Sarah Scott (Josh), Micah Dean, Christina Jadlos (Christopher), Travis Elkins (Jade), Kelsie, Linsey and Chandler Elkins; his great grandchildren, Justin Akers (Chelsea), Kody Akers, Jason Akers, Arika Brown (Kyle), Xavier, Livana Holtshulte, Zoe, Isaac Scott, Chloe, Brennan, Cohen Dean, Raina Jadlos, Dawson and Canyon Elkins; and his great great grandchildren, Levi, Mia, Harley, Rhett Akers, Mallorie, Emalynn and Karter Brown.
