He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wesley and Anna Martindale (Caldwell); and his siblings, Charlie Martindale, Evelyn Bell and Elsea Predmoore.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Fields; his son Ryan Martindale; and his grandchildren, Colleen Jenkins, Roy Christian Martindale, Chloe Martindale and Royce Martindale.
