He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Wirbel and Mary Wirbel (Goodman); his former spouse Shirley J. Renfrew; his wife Mary Crooks; and his daughter Cecile "Sis" Wirbel.
He is survived by: his children, Marion "Ike" Wirbel (Kim) and Judy L. Wirbel of Kenton; his stepchildren, Donald Crooks (Shari) of Middleburg, PA, Stephen Crooks (Lucinda) of Forest and Kathy Born (Brian) of Kenton; his grandchildren, Corey Wirbel (Sarah) of Kenton and Charity Robinson (Matt) of Ridgeway; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Trevor Robinson, Ethan, Garraden and Leighton Wirbel. He is also survived by several stepgrandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Bus to the Hardin County Humane Society or the Epworth United Methodist Church.
