She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe "Toby" Scott and Pearlean Wallace (Samons); her husband Darrell Emerson Nichols Sr.; her granddaughter Shelby Dane Prater; and her siblings, William Scott (Cora), Donald Kindell Scott (Debra) and Fawn Ann Prater.
She is survived by: her daughters, Erica Galkiewicz and Heidi Soledad; her stepsons, Darrell Emerson Nichols Jr. (Michelle) and Jonathan Patrick Nichols; her siblings, Minister Joe D. Scott Jr. (Sherri), David Scott (Lori), Faith Crockett (Dean), Harry Wallace Jr. and Mary Lightner (Brad); her brother-in-law Rocky Prater; and her grandchildren, Abigail Nichols, Shay Allen Galkiewicz, Daniel Michael Lee Galkiewicz, Joshua Braden Emerson Galkiewicz and Ethan Michael Galkiewicz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
