She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Middleton and Stella Mae Middleton; her children, Tom Middleton, Cindy Middleton and Wendy Rankin; and her siblings, Earnest Middleton, Jr. and Joann Morris.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim of Marion and Mitchell Rankin of Marion; and her siblings, Richard Middleton (Linda) of Marion, Dan Middleton (Lauri) of Kenton, Carolyn Sue Samardge of Marion and Sylvia Jewell of Marion. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Lula to the American Diabetes Association.
