It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Ann Purdy of Kenton, Ohio, born in Bluffton, Ohio, who passed away on September 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard R. Peterson and Shelva J. Frueh (Woodward); and her husband Joseph A. Purdy. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Purdy (Rebecca) and Daniel Purdy; her grandson Joseph Lee Purdy; her siblings, Ricky R. Peterson, Sue Ann McCrary (David) and Debra Burrows (late Edward); her stepmother Ilean Peterson; and her stepsiblings, Michael Pletcher (Pauline), Mary Pletcher and Christine Simon (Steve). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
