He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Hanna; his wife Judy Campbell; and his brother Lauren Hanna. He is survived by: his former wife Barb Carpenter; his son Brad Hanna of Kenton; his brother Phillip Hanna (Barb) of Flushing Michigan; and his grandson Seth Hanna of St. Mary's. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Lewis's honor may be made to the Elks Lodge in Kenton.
