He was predeceased by: his father Leon Ferrell; his son Joshua L. Ferrell; and his father Victor Wesolwski. He is survived by: his wife Tamara "Tammy" Prater; his children, Scott Manns of Knoxville, TN and Tina Marie Ferrell of Findlay; and his pet Annie. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Leo's honor may be made to the Amvets Post 1994 in Kenton.
