She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Harp and Rachel Harp (Treen); her husband John Cowen; her sons, Johnny Cowen and James Cowen; her siblings, Nancy McClaren (Tom) of Kenton and Don Harp (Theresa); and her grandson Heath Marling.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Cowen of Kenton, Vickie Bailey (Tim) of Kenton and Judy Collopy (Dave) of Kenton; her sister-in-law Billie; and her niece Tammy Manns of Kenton. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
