He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Smith and Virigina Smith (Johnson); his spouse Sandy Richardson; his son Larry Smith; and his brothers, Tim and Steve Smith.

He is survived by: his son Ed Smith (Deb) of Kenton; and his siblings, Peggy Gibbs (Dan) of Bellefontaine, Cathy Newland (Rick) of Kenton, Randy Smith (Jean) of Spokane and Mike Smith of Kenton. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's honor to the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Kenton.
