With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine P. Marquis of Kenton, Ohio, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Newland and Nina Mae Newland (Eakens); her former spouse Thomas Marquis; and her brothers, Marvin and William Minger.
She is survived by: her fiancé James Legge of Kenton; her children, Korinna Kennell (Brian) of Verona, VA and Thomas E. Marquis (Deanna) of Patterson; and her sisters, Reeta Treen of Kenton, Hazel Newland of Kenton, Iris Proffitt of Kenton and Robin Newland of Kenton. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren 6 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Katherine's honor may be made to the Hardin County Humane Society.
