She was predeceased by: her parents, Parl Flinn and Lois Flinn (Musgrave); her husband Lyle McCarty; her son Brian McCarty; and her siblings, Tom Flinn and Sharon Bowers (Eugene).
She is survived by: her children, Lyle Richard McCarty of Lima, Michelle McCarty of Kenton, Shawna McCarty of Kenton and Craig McCarty of Kenton; her siblings, Larry Flinn (Lillian) of Beavercreek, OH and Jean Dirkson (Richard) of Kenton; and her granddaughters, Cori Woodland (Jason), Lindi Hartman (Chris Hedges) and Joni Coffey (Mike). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
