He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Gunn and Ruth Gunn (Early); and his brother Don Gunn. He is survived by: his former spouse Jackie Reider; his children, Becky and Steve (Tina); his wife Nancy A. Smith; his sons, Ian (Cindy) and Jeremy (Gena); and his brother Larry Gunn. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Price McElroy Funeral Home (123 N Main St, Kenton, OH 43326). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in John's honor may be made to the Amvets Post 1994 Riders to help build wheelchair ramps for veterans.
