Janet Sponsler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Sponsler of Kenton, Ohio, who passed away on February 18, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Woodruff and Alberta Woodruff (Chamberlin); her husband Joe Sponsler; and her siblings, Edna Hiller, Pauline Willeke, Raymond Woodruff, John Woodruff, Harold Woodruff, Paul Woodruff, Robert Woodruff, Dorothy Woodruff, Helen Cozad and Lois Fry.

She is survived by: her children, Sheri Sponsler of Kenton, Vickie Sponsler of Kenton and William Sponsler of Kenton; her siblings, Mildred Owings of Dola, Velma Lamb of Lima and Vern Woodruff (Joan) of Dunkirk; and her grandsons, Jake Sponsler of Bowling Green and William Sponsler Jr. of Perrysburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bridge Hospice or the Kenton YMCA.
