He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Collins and Lois Collins (Bruce); his spouse Carrol Mohn; his children, Denny Collins and Barbara Fox; and his brothers, Buddy L. Collins and Billy J. Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Collins, Jr. (Lori) of Kenton, Chris Amweg (Ronald) of Kenton, Duane Collins of Kenton, Gig Collins (Sherry) of Kenton and Robin Phillips of Kenton; his grandchildren, James Collins, III, David Amweg (Chrissy), Melissa Corwin (Randy), Amanda Uttuleti (Varun), George Collins, Tina Kneer, April Phillips, Tammy Armstrong, Fritz Armstrong, Ben, Brian and Brady Collins; and his brother Jerry I. Collins of San Diego, CA.. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
