He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Harper and Doris Harper (Wood); and his siblings, Edward "Frank" Harper, George Harper, Nancy Harper and Viola Newland.
He is survived by: his brother Thomas Harper (Donna) of Paducah, KY; his brother-in-law William Newland of Forest; and his friends, Bill and Charlotte Buxton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
