Though Gary Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Fitzgerald and Helen Fitzgerald (Crise); his son John A. Fitzgerald; and his brothers, Neil E. Fitzgerald and Fred E. Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Fitzgerald (Wood); his children, Jane Murray (Mike) of Indian Lake, Peggy Sue Newkirk (Jim) of Ada and David Fitzgerald (Jacqualine) of Kenton; and his sister Jane Georgiades (George) of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health Hospice in Kenton, or to Shriner's Hospital in Gary's memory.
