He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Coyer and Mildred Estella Horne Coyer; and his siblings, Ralph Coyer, Jack Coyer, Marion Coyer, Viola Craig and Madalene Sharp.
He is survived by: his stepbrother Marion Coyer; his siblings, Margaret Frazier of Huntsville, Florence Ellis of Kenton and Clarence "Buddy" Coyer of Bellefontaine; his children, Tammy "Marcy", Brian, Benny and Franklin; and his close friend Susie Mattox. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
