He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Earl and Vena Opal Skeens (Bowling); his siblings, Lucy Elaine Buckley (Bill) and Philip Earl Skeens; his brothers-in-law, Charles Thompson and Doug Davenport; and his grandson Aaron Evans.
He is survived by: his former wife Esther Mae Kiess; his wife Martha Haudenschield; his children, Dori Lynn Spencer (Tony) of Dunkirk, Lesa Ann Melton (Wade) of Mt. Cory, Carmen Kay Skeens of Findlay, Ricky Dale Kiess (Joanie) of Kenton, James Murfield Skeens (Sabrina) of Marion and Joshua Alan Haudenschield of Ada; and his siblings, Betty Lou Kerr (Charlie), Jenny Lea Davenport of Delaware and Christopher Michael Skeens of Morrow Co. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson.
