He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Prater and Edith Prater (Combs); his sister Marcia Kerr; his grandson Karsen Zimmerman; and his brother Allerick Prater.
He is survived by: his children, Cassie Zimmerman (Keith) of Dunkirk and Jeremy Prater of Kenton; his siblings, Staria Hattery of Kenton and Markus Prater (Jackie) of Foraker; and his grandchild Holden Zimmerman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
