He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Long and Dorotha Long (McClain); his daughter-in-law Peggy Long; and his brother-in-law Jack Katterjohn. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Fisher; his children, Laura Bilbrey (Jerry) of Bellefontaine, Kenny Long of Kenton and Doug Long (Peggy) of Kenton; and his sister Patricia Katterjohn of Kenton. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19, the family has asked that everyone wear masks when attending the services.
