Cathy Susan Newland Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2024, at the age of 69, Cathy Susan Newland of Kenton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel Smith and Virginia Smith (Johnson); and her brothers, Larry Smith, Tim Smith and Steve Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, James Spangler (Rachel) of Lima and Matthew Newland (Rebecca) of Bettsville; her siblings, Peggy Gibbs (Dan) of Bellefontaine, Randy Smith (Jean Ann) of Clarkston, WA and Mike Smith (Kay) of Kenton; and her grandchildren, Persephone Serenity Virginia Spangler, Hailey Newland and Tyson Newland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Epworth Community Church of Kenton (457 S Detroit St, Kenton, OH 43326). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cathy's name may be made to the funeral home in care of the family or to the Alzheimer's Association.
