She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Wells and Helen Wells (Amsler); her spouse Dale Long; her siblings, Evelyn Wells, David "Crock" Wells, Tom Wells, Gary Wells and Larry Wells; her son-in-law Russ Burmeister; and her brother-in-law Larry Hollen.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Burmeister of Castalia, James Gibson (Theresa) of Virgina, Kathy Helton (Doyle) of Kenton, Tom Gibson (Jessica) of Kenton, Jenifer Stauffer of Kenton and Kelli Long of Wapakoneta; and her siblings, Linda Nichols (Frank) of Kenton, Sherry Rowe of Kenton, Jim Wells of Kenton, Denny Wells (Peg) of Kenton and Bob (Diane). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Carol's honor may be made to the New Hope Church of Kenton.
