He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Lewis; his son Ryan E. Topping (Michelle); his grandson Brice Topping (Raven Smith); his stepgranddaughters, Tansey and Leanne Johnson; his brother Paul R. Topping; his half-siblings, William R. Topping and Peggy Akerman (David); his aunt Vivian Boles; his friends, Bob Cannode (Sheri), Steve Kalb (Pam), Dan Brodman (Lisa), Ernie Davis, Bob Ward (Josie), Lloyd Pierson and Floyd Vermillion; and his close friends, Shirley Bryant and Brynn McGrath.
Donations can be given in Byron's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
