He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bob, Walt, Dick, Jerry, Jack, Catherine and Joanne.
He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Smith of Palm Beach, FL. and Mary Lou Johnston; his children, David Smith (Robyn) of Ellet, Cathy Knapp (Gary) of Stow, Bob Smith (Kathy) of Naples, FL., Paul Smith (Beth) of State College, PA., Peggy Morgan (Greg) of Whidbey Island, WA. and Laura Pavel (John) of Warren, OH.; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Timothy, Kristin, Olivia, Lauren, Joseph, Stephanie, Gig, Seth, Anthony and Brooke. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
