He was predeceased by: his son David Gray; his parents, Elwood Gray and Ruth Gray; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" McCart, Robert "Bob" Gray and William "Bill" Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Marica; his children, Shelley Cunningham (Chuck), Michael Gray, James Gray and Ronald J. Gray (Theresa); and his sisters, Phyllis Cooper, Teresa Dodd, Roselee Sandvig (Dave), Paula Eck (Dave) and Lana Nail (Steve). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
