He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Neil and Margaret Louis (Enell); his brothers, Durwood Neil and Melvin Douglas; and his grandfather Bob.
He is survived by: his wife Germaine Hale (Pecquet); his children, Lisa Kolo (Hale), Catherine Cary and John; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Rachel, Ryan and Matthew.
