He was predeceased by: his parents, John Adamek and Genevieve Adamek; his wife Judith M. Adamek; and his grandsons, Benjamin Adamek and Jacob Adamek.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Adamek, Richard Adamek (Terri) and Nancy Gray; and his children, Mary Hermelin (Gary), Anne McKinney (Derrick), Dr. Margaret Adamek (Eddie Johnson), Dr. Peter Adamek (Terri Coyne), Catherine Thier (Ron), Elizabeth Heisey (Kevin), Paul Adamek (Susan), Dr. Philip Adamek, Patrick Adamek (Julie), Rachel Scott (Bruce) and John Adamek (Missy Crawford). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (313 N Depeyster St, Kent, OH 44240).
