It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Scherer of Kent, Ohio, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bungo Plisco and Stanley Plisco; her siblings, Marsha, Nancy Kephart, Michael Kephart and Thomas Plisco; and her brother-in-law Denver Kephart.

She is survived by: her children, Jacquelyn Scherer, David Scherer, Dana Boston (Joel) and Lisa Gyulai; her grandchildren, Noelle, Nicolas, Jack and Jenica; the father of her children Gerald Scherer; her sisters, Rose Kephart, Francine Reise and Mary Kay Givens; and her pets, Nezzie, Braveheart and Dot.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rose's Rescue, the APL of Portage County or the Humane Society of Portage County.
