He is survived by: his wife Dr. Joanne Rand Schwartz; his brother Edward Schwartz of Tucson, AZ; his children, Monica Ann James of San Diego, CA, Kenneth David Schwartz, J. D., Laura and Rachel Lynn Jones Ed; and his stepson Richard Glenn Gamble (Schwartz) of Charlotte, N. C.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and step grandchildren.
