It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Zalewski of Kent, Ohio, born in Ravenna, Ohio, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Leslie and Mary Leslie (McMahon); her brothers, Terrence, Jon Paul, Chester and Philip; and her granddaughter Alivia Juliana.

She is survived by: her significant other Robert Zalewski; her children, Marie Juliana (Ralph), Karen Anzaldi (Tony), Terrence Zalewski (Sherri), Elaine Mattern and Colleen Perkins (Todd); her grandchildren, Samantha Anzaldi (Brad Balthaser), Devon Juliana (Alex Wissler), Emily Mattern (Patrick Nguyen), Tony Anzaldi (Ali), Stanley Zalewski (Maddie Frederick), Angelo Juliana, Julia Zalewski, Laura Zalewski, Robbie Perkins, Riley Perkins and Patrick Mattern; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Leslie, Ilona Zalewski, Marcia Reed and Kim Leslie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (313 N Depeyster St, Kent, OH 44240).
