With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin L. McFarren (Kent, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted McFarren and Jeanne McFarren; and his siblings, David Gowin and Susan Watters. He is survived by: his wife Terri McFarren; his brother Keith McFarren; his daughters, Leigha Finnemore (Ryan) and Lauren Mulqueen (Michael); his grandchildren, Gracie Schillinger and Patrick Mulqueen; his mother-in-law Patricia Clapp (James) of Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Dave Gowin, Scotty Gowin of New Hampshire, Jimmy Watters, Cheri Kelly (Tom), Russell Becker (Katie) of Kansas and Dave Watters (Nichole).
A 1974 graduate of Springfield High School and a lifelong journeyman machinist, Kevin celebrated several notable contributions to his field, collaborating on parts used in NASA's Space Shuttle Program and the Large Hadron Super Collider.
