With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guenveur H. Burnell of Kent, Ohio, born in West Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on March 27, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, S. G. Harper and May Harper (Williams); her husband John P. Burnell, Jr.; her siblings, Bill, Michael Harper and Mary Lu Walker; her siblings-in-law, Eileen Harper, Polly Burnell Lynch and Donald Walker; and her nephews, Terry Harper and Luke Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Sally of Kent, John, Polly of Provincetown, MA, Emily (Chris Petrou) of Erding and Germany (John); her granddaughters, Katina Petrou of New Orleans, LA and Elena Petrou of Sydney; her brother Ed; her sisters-in-law, Joan Harper of Oklahoma City, OK and Marian Harper of Kettering, OH; and her pet Sixto. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
