Glenna Jean Englehart Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Jean Englehart (Kent, Ohio), who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Merritts and Nellie Merritts; her in-laws, Harley and Eleanor Englehart; her brother William; her sister-in-law Lisa Merritts; her siblings, Gerald and Geraldine Merritts; and her brother-in-law Richard Kain (Skip).

She is survived by: her husband Donald Joseph Englehart; her children, Steven Englehart, Kimberly Hlad (Michael) and Lisa LeMasters (Craig); her grandchildren, Donnie Peters, Craig LeMasters Jr. (Marissa), Zack LeMasters (Sarah), Rylan LeMasters (Payton), Parker LeMasters, Nicholas Clements, Cody Clements, Tanner Clements, Timothy Hlad (Trinity) and Kyle Hlad; her great grandchild Dakota Hlad; her sister Ilene Kain; her sisters-in-law, Mary Ridenour and Kathy Englehart; her close friend Marylynn Watters; and her caregiver Jodi Huffman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bissler and Sons Funeral Home (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (313 N Depeyster St, Kent, OH 44240).
