He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabella Jálics (Fricke) and Kálmán Jálics; his son Imi; his siblings, Isabella Jálics, Ferenc Jálics S. J., Vilma Dombrády (Gyuszi), Sophie Hegedüs (Ervin) and Dr. Paul Jálics; and his brother-in-law Zsolt Mesterházy.
He is survived by: his wife Anikó Mesterházy; his siblings, Mária, József Jálics (Christa), Alice and Stephen Jálics (Susan); his siblings-in-law, Kristi Jálics, Zsuzsi Reynolds and Tamás Mesterházy; his sons, Frank Jálics (Susan), Dr. Miklós Jálics (Marian), Dr. Laci Jálics (Amy) and Dr. Józsi Jálics (Julie); and his grandchildren, Ilona, János, Alena, Karin, Arianna, Luka, Márton, Mia, Mónika, Lea, Kristina, Benedek and Klári.
