She was predeceased by: her parents, Shinroku Hoshino and Ine Ichikawa Hoshino; her husband James; her siblings, Teleco, Ukiko and Takeji; and her grandson Daniel.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Allen (Cristina) of Cuyahoga Falls, Debra Smith (Mike) of Windham, Wendy Scholz (Ken) of Bend, Donald Allen (Karen) of Gahanna and James Allen of Boardman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
