He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Natalie Battaglia (DiLauro) and Nicholas James Battaglia; and his brother-in-law John Besser. He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony Battaglia, Danny Battaglia (Tonya), Grace Hoffman (Mitch), Mary Beth Battaglia Besser and Francine Livezey (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and loving cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (313 N Depeyster St, Kent, OH 44240).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Battaglia family.
