She is survived by: her husband Thomas Parsons; her sons, James Nicholas Parsons and Thomas Justin Parsons (Amber); her granddaughter Iliana Tomi Parsons; her siblings, Helen Huebner (Jim), Sophie Halpern (Sidney) and Nick Georgitsos; her siblings-in-law, Fred Parsons (Carol) and Francis Schaufele; her nephews, Joshua and Adam Halpern; and her cousin Peter Pappas (Erin).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a charity close to her heart.
