He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nichols and Edrie Nichols (Crooks); his son Chuck Nichols (Christine) of Windham; his grandson Matt; and his siblings, Gene, Glenn, Pete, Edrie, Jane and Ann.
He is survived by: his brother Richard; his children, Ed Nichols (Vicki) of Munroe Falls and Jan McGinnis (Jim) of Beaver, PA; and his grandchildren, Mike, Jennifer, John and Chris. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (1435 E Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
