We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, at the age of 86, Carol Bartels of Kent, Ohio, born in Rutledge, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lowe and Freda Lowe (McPherson); her husband Ernest Bartels; and her siblings, Elizabeth Hudson, Virginia Happel and John Lowe.

She is survived by: her children, Bridgett Norris (Kevin) of Mogadore, OH, Alice Simpson (Bob) of Indianapolis, IN and Timothy Bartels (Diane) of Greensburg, PA; and her grandchildren, Jennifer McCormick (Jason), Eric Norris (Elizabeth), Brenda Johnston (Russ), Elizabeth Deker (David), Mark Bartels (Sara), Adam Workman and Aaron Workman (Kristin). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
