He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Sears (Gregory) of Bloomington and Andrea Newberry of Albuquerque; his sister Barbara Newberry of Portland, Oregon; his grandsons, Benjamin and Henry Sears; and his nephews, Martin Wahl and Seth Sterling of Portland, Oregon..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Kent (228 Gougler Ave, Kent, OH 44240).
He remained an appreciative, supportive, and Amiable patient through a six-plus year ordeal with Alzheimer's Disease.
