She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph G. Brode; her parents, Ray Haiflich and Nettie Haiflich; her siblings, Ronald Haiflich, Wilma Cowger, Dwayne Haiflich and Darwin Haiflich; and her grandson Mitchell Buchanan.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Brode (Judy) of Ormond Beach, Beejay Wilson (Greg) of Great Falls, Virginia and Lisa O'Neill (Danny) of Ravenna, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Conrad (John) of Palm Bay, Jared Brode (Holly) of Cleveland, Geoffrey Buchanan (McKenzie) of Durham, Ian O'Neill (Katie) of Burton, Shae O'Neill (Amber) of Akron and Brynn Riffle (Kevin) of Tallmadge, Ohio.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
