He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Walker Jones Sr. (Essie Mae Jones); and his siblings, Eloise Murry, Helen Chase and Gerald Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Tierra Jones, Nicki Heller and Charles Roper; his goddaughters, Brandy Jones (Marlon) and Natasha Jones; his grandchildren, Darianna Heller, Ja'Hayla Jones, Jadin Willetta-Walker Jones, Ky'Aire Jones and Alaya Ann-Marie Monroe; his siblings, Mary Ware (Ransom), Gloria McGahee (John), Charlene Jones, Comellia Ordia, Estrella Jones, Valesca Jones, Christine Robertson and Bertram Jones; his niece Tiffany Jones; his nephew Kenneth Murry; his friend George; and his brother Robert Grooms.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel (141 N Meridian St, Ravenna, OH 44266). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
