He is survived by: his siblings, Deborah Shorts (Richard Lashley), Geoffrey Appleyard (Jacque Savage) and Edward Appleyard (Debra); and his siblings-in-law, Carol Appleyard and Ken Kerata. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
