She was predeceased by: her parent Rash Shaffer; her grandparents, Miles and Beulah Hubler; her mother Gloria Jean Shaffer Nichols (Hubler); and her siblings, Miles Shaffer and Susan Shaffer.
She is survived by: her husband Arcadio Cruz; her children, Alicia Cruz-Ohler of Tenn, Gabriel Cruz (Melissa) of Ala, Christina Gandee (William) of Tenn and Thomas Cruz of Tenn; her great grandchildren, Kynlee, Peyton and Emberlyn; and her sisters, Katherine Shaffer of Mass and Ada Matusczak of Canton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
