We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Leonard H. Merkle Jr. of Kansas, Ohio, born in Fremont, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha (Nye) and Leonard Harold Merkle, Sr.; and his brother Robert Merkle. He is survived by: his wife Martha E. Bickelhaupt; his children, Valerie Alvarez (Joe) of Merritt Island, FL, Geana Whitehead (Kelly) of Merritt Island, FL, Beverly Granger (Jim) of Fairfield, OH and Rebecca Tracy (Bruce Simkus) of Woodville, OH; his grandchildren, Sarah Campbell (Rory), Levi Haubert, Nathan Granger (Melissa), Austin Woronka, Justin Merkle, Madison Woronka, Aria Granger, Tristan Tracy, Marissa Tracy and Jason Whitehead; his great grandchildren, Caspian Merkle, Brantley Woronka, Alakai Hebert, Walter Haubert and Oakley White; his sister Jacqueline Carlyle (Gary); and his half-sisters, Diane McCumber and Mary Jane Scherger.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dillon Road Baptist Missionary Fund at P.O. Box 69, Fostoria, OH, 44830.
