He was predeceased by: his parents, Erlin Stahl and LaVon Stahl (Kissling); his wife Margrete Stahl (Stump); and his siblings, Ralph, Paul Stahl and Dorothy Ridenour.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory (Suzanne) and Debra (Herbert); his foster daughter Sharon Linder (Fred) of Lawrenceville, GA; his foster sister Sandra Bauer (Mike) of Shiloh, OH; and his grandchildren, Matt Linder, Kelly Taylor (Craig), David Stahl (Crissy), Leighanne Stahl, Andrew Adams (Christina), Mark Adams (Ashley) and Stephen Adams (Jolie). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
