She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Niese and Anna Niese (Goedde); her husband Carl B. Vorst; her daughter Annie Ketcham; and her brothers, Don, Jim and Leon "Shorty" Niese.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Vorst (Karen) of Kalida and Joe Vorst (Char Elling) of Fort Jennings; her grandchildren, Jacob Vorst, Mindy Stewart (Eric), Dr. Danielle Westrick (Mike) and Brandon Vorst; her great grandchildren, Dominic Vorst, Bristol Vorst, Alexis Westrick and Alania Westrick; her sister Marie Laudick of Kalida; and her son-in-law Dwayne Ketcham of Kalida.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kalida Four Seasons Park.
